Big Sur, Babies.

First Evareddy camping trip! Very different from our backpacking treks of yesteryear but worth it as we continue to work out the kinks of showing our two moving targets the great outdoors. We plan to do this one every year in September. The tourists are gone and the weather is spectacular. Sarek rode an inner tube and roasted marshmallows for the first time. Nola had her first naked creek dunk. We also celebrated Amy's birthday, which she shares with her dad.

DexDay

Sarek spent the night with Dexter and his grandparents. We all had dinner in Pacifica then Nola and I left Sarek behind to celebrate with his best friend.

Deena is away at a wedding this weekend. Away from the kids for the first time ever! Enjoy it.

Queen for a Day

Tidbits of weekend fun. Sarek decided I was a Queen at one point and dressed me up accordingly. Nola's fine motor skills are pretty advanced for her 18 months. Go, left-handed gal! Note how she pets the kitty puzzle piece and claps for herself. Not a shy girl. Sarek continues with his obsessions in the kitchen...anything chocolate that involves pans and batter. Our dear friend, Amy, was up for a few days and played Aunty to our kids.

The Luck of the Irish

Deena found a four leaf clover. Our luck will surely change now.
