First Concert

Sarek sings "Jingle Bells" at his first school concert in this video. The singing starts at about 1:50, there is a lot of setting up the little kids before that. There is a funny introduction though, pure ham that Sarek.

Playing With Fire

A fire truck showed up next to the playground. Kids forgot how to do anything but ogle the truck.

Nola Vignettes

A Basic Christmas

Ligthing the Tree.

Breaking in the new bikes. Nola is getting used to the idea of self propulsion. Sarek figuredout pedals pretty quickly and had little trouble riding with training wheels. When he grows into the bike a little more he'll be a two wheeled demon.

Social Climbers

On the jungle gym.

Santa's Little helper

Nola tries on other People's presents.

They Are Planning Something

They look all sweet and innocent now, but you they'll be fun trouble in about 12 years.

Frilly and Silly

After taking her to bed, Sarek borrowed Leah's tutu.

Out of the Closet...

Into Sarek's bed. Gotta keep an eye on these two.

Double Bloggers

Grandma couldn't get enough of the kids by being with them, so they watched the Blog.

Happy Birthday Lisa

Grandma Tarah's visit to SF

Grandma Tarah came by in December to help us out as we both search for work and meaning. She cooked, cleaned, imparted wisdom, and babysat smiling all the while. She got to enjoy all her grandkids - missing Kaitlin who she sees in college back east- out in SF and make a connection with Nola. Nola now has a face to put with her new words Gramma Tahah.

Sarek's first sledding expereince, with city hall in the background. The city hosted a family winter wonderland in Civic Center plaza.

Making a Duck Fan

It's kind of like Malcolm McDowell sitting in the chair at the end of A Clockwork Orange with his eyes pried open, isn't it.
Here is the video she is watching, a fan tribute to the Oregon Ducks.
