Nola and Deena ride the modern version of a Big Wheel on the sunny side of Gates St. I savored the mother-daughter time...a too rare occurence in our hectic lives. Note Nola's "bad ass" look, which she seems to have mastered ever since she got stitches in her left cheek.

Ladder Leader

Sarek is 2 for 2 at Chutes and Ladders. He took mommy on Thursday and put the beat down on daddy tonight. It is really just making it that much harder to talk to him about losing.

Nola unexpectedly wins the First Sibling to the ER contest. She fell off the couch and busted her cheek. No stitches-they used some tape and glue to close it up. She was a champ at the hospital. No crying. Sarek cried alot 'cause he was worried she'd get a shot.

Rainy Days

Sebastian and Lucas came to visit and Sarek and Nola let them in on their solution to a rainy day in SF...the International Terminal and Tram at SFO. Sebastian and Lucas are Kim's kids. Kim is a dear friend of Deena's from high school.
