Ocean Beach Picnic Dinner

Indian summer in San Francisco inspired us to bring dinner to the beach around sunset. We may complain about the pricetag, but we are so lucky to live here. Nola, 2 1/2. Sarek, 4. Brett, 43. Deena 39 3/4.

In Search of SLO Sun

We took a rare long weekend trip to SLO in September in search of a real California summer. Mission accomplished! Sarek was a daredevil at the pool, hurling himself into the water with no regard for his lack of swimming skills. Nola literally got her feet wet in a pool for the first time. The water theme continued in the backyard kiddie pool. We saw our good friends, Sam, Erin, Charley, and Melissa. Melissa lives at the end of Perfumo Canyon Rd, which feels like the top of the Central Coast. Deena got to see her dear friend, Kim, and new son, Lucas, on the way back to SF.
